What to Make of TabTrade - A New CFD Broker in 2026

TabTrade - What It Is

TabTrade.com launched in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.

That last detail is relevant. It says the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. It is better than someone with no brokerage experience.

They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.

The instrument list: forex, indices, metals, commodities, shares, crypto, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For something this new, the breadth is solid.

What You Trade On

They offer: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from a single account. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Having both is useful. You are not locked into one.

MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, EAs, huge user base. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, it is familiar territory.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 after using both.

FIX API is there for algo traders but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is reportedly on the roadmap. That would make the platform set when it lands.

What You Pay

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your all-in cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most brokers that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade has no minimum.

VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not something most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.

How Fast Are the Fills

The speed is the thing this broker actually does something different. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. The average platform run a much wider range.

Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. What matters is the setup is serious. That says what kind of broker this is.

Pair that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering holds up. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit offer execution like this.

Regulation

Now, the thing that requires honesty. TabTrade is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.

However. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Scam brokers do not invest in Equinix connectivity. This does not guarantee anything. It does factor into your assessment.

What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off is worth it depends on you.

Welcome Offer

Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard welcome offer. You fund your account, the broker top up your balance. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Read the conditions before funding.
